I'm sure they have free perks for newlyweds. Isn't it strange, what a public spectacle society has made out of the whole thing? It seems so odd that the happiness or romantic state of two strangers should matter so much to so many.
Well, for some of these places, it's probably just, you know, trying to get you to spend more in other places. But in general... yeah, it is kinda weird, huh? Even places like Pandora, weddings tend to be kind of a big deal.

It is a profitable business, from what I've seen. Everything's expensive for a wedding. Another reason to skip it all entirely. I'd rather have more helpful household appliances.

It's traditional, I know that much. When people get married, other people give them gifts. It seems silly, but I do like gifts.

Well, you could always say thank you for the gifts people sent, and then maybe some of them will feel bad for not sending any, and get on that.
